Cason Glen seems to be an idyllic small town where neighbors have neighborhood parties and all is well。 Or is it？ It seems that everyone in this little town has a secret and they are all lying about something。 Talk about unreliable narrators！ One night someone sees a car drive off the bridge into the lake and they will have to drag the lake。 This seems to upset most everyone in town。 Kiersten Modglin is a master of the twisty turny novel and this one is no different。 Her unreliable narrators and Cason Glen seems to be an idyllic small town where neighbors have neighborhood parties and all is well。 Or is it？ It seems that everyone in this little town has a secret and they are all lying about something。 Talk about unreliable narrators！ One night someone sees a car drive off the bridge into the lake and they will have to drag the lake。 This seems to upset most everyone in town。 Kiersten Modglin is a master of the twisty turny novel and this one is no different。 Her unreliable narrators and her habit of ending most chapters with a question help build the suspense。 Even if you think you may know what happened， you will never see the ending coming。 Ms Modglin has another hit。 I haven't read anything by her that I haven't loved。 I want to thank her for allowing me to read an ARC copy。 Please keep them coming。 。。。more

Fantastic！！！Kiersten Modglin posted today that this book released and I knew I had to read it。 It had me at Chapter 1 and I never put it down。 The story drew me in and had me guessing constantly。 The length of the story was absolutely perfect and all the info was important。 I hate long books that have a bunch of pointless info in them。 The characters were great and the twists were so so good！ In some cases I was putting myself in the characters place seeing what I would do in those circumstances Fantastic！！！Kiersten Modglin posted today that this book released and I knew I had to read it。 It had me at Chapter 1 and I never put it down。 The story drew me in and had me guessing constantly。 The length of the story was absolutely perfect and all the info was important。 I hate long books that have a bunch of pointless info in them。 The characters were great and the twists were so so good！ In some cases I was putting myself in the characters place seeing what I would do in those circumstances。 Kiersten doesn’t disappoint。 This is my second book of hers and it will definitely not be my last。 。。。more

I was honoured to be selected as an early reader for this book and， wow， what a whirlwind it is！ Our Little Secret introduces the residents of Cason Glen， a small lakeside community， where its impossible to keep a secret。 Or is it…？I absolutely stormed through this fantastic story it in a single sitting。 It’s clear from the outset that economy with the truth is a prerequisite of belonging to this community， the narration from multiple points of view lending itself well to not knowing who to beli I was honoured to be selected as an early reader for this book and， wow， what a whirlwind it is！ Our Little Secret introduces the residents of Cason Glen， a small lakeside community， where its impossible to keep a secret。 Or is it…？I absolutely stormed through this fantastic story it in a single sitting。 It’s clear from the outset that economy with the truth is a prerequisite of belonging to this community， the narration from multiple points of view lending itself well to not knowing who to believe， each resident seemingly closely guarding a secret or two。 I liked how fast paced the writing was， not too much time invested in providing detailed backstory， instead allowing titbits from the past to eke out over the course of a number of chapters， allowing the reader to piece together the puzzle as certain secrets are tacitly revealed。 Then just went you think everything is neatly tied in a bow， along comes a final twist to knock you out of your seat！ I defy you not to start looking at your neighbours suspiciously after reading this！This was right up my alley – if you enjoy a domestic thriller， don’t hesitate to get your hands on this one！ Thanks so much Kiersten for the opportunity to read in advance and to provide an honest review。 。。。more

4。5 ⭐️Bad things don’t happen in the exclusive subdivision， Cason Glen。 Except when they do， they REALLY do。 Murder， Sex and Lies are at the center of this little community。 This town is supposed to be safe but no one is who they seem and every household is hiding dark secrets behind their pretty picket fences。 I was entirely engaged from the beginning。 It’s such a page turner that before I knew it， I was 50% in and didn’t want to stop。 Told in multiple POVs， every character flaw was better than 4。5 ⭐️Bad things don’t happen in the exclusive subdivision， Cason Glen。 Except when they do， they REALLY do。 Murder， Sex and Lies are at the center of this little community。 This town is supposed to be safe but no one is who they seem and every household is hiding dark secrets behind their pretty picket fences。 I was entirely engaged from the beginning。 It’s such a page turner that before I knew it， I was 50% in and didn’t want to stop。 Told in multiple POVs， every character flaw was better than the next。 Every single member of this smalltown is a liar。 They all put on a facade as though they were high school best friends but behind closed doors， the relationships were a different story。 The teenagers dialogue - phew 😰 they needed a good lesson in respect （and a little good ol fashioned discipline。） As much as I cringed at their indecency， I was highly ENTERTAINED。 They don’t call KM the ‘Queen of Twists’ for nothing， she BRINGS the unexpected twists at every corner！ I was ALL IN for this book and can’t wait to read her entire backlist。 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨Thank you so much KM for my #gifted arc in exchange for my review！ 。。。more

I don’t know if it’s because I’m still suffering a #bookhangover from #TheArrangement or what， but #OurLittleSecret missed the mark for me。 I was not able to connect with any of the characters and felt like the ending lacked closure。 She still delivered with some twists but they didn’t hit the wow factor for me。 However， this will not stop me from continuing to read every book #KierstenModglin writes！

My fascination with Kiersten's writing was instantaneous。 Often times， when I seek out a psychological thriller， I prepare myself mentally for the twist that is bound to shock the reader when they aren't expecting it。 Often times， I am left disappointed with the predictable developments in a lot of thrillers， because， let's be honest， I LIVE FOR THE THRILL！ That is why Kiersten's books always leave me mesmerized。 I have never been able to figure out where， in the story， her characters are going My fascination with Kiersten's writing was instantaneous。 Often times， when I seek out a psychological thriller， I prepare myself mentally for the twist that is bound to shock the reader when they aren't expecting it。 Often times， I am left disappointed with the predictable developments in a lot of thrillers， because， let's be honest， I LIVE FOR THE THRILL！ That is why Kiersten's books always leave me mesmerized。 I have never been able to figure out where， in the story， her characters are going to catch me off guard while reading， and have scrolled back through pages wondering if I'd missed a clue。 But， no， Kiersten just has a brilliant way of laying out every clue throughout the story， but the unsuspecting mind doesn't pick up on them at the time because they are so subtle。 You know you always have a nagging feeling regarding certain peaks in the story， but you just can't put your finger on why that is。So， when I started reading this book， I knew I was in for the thrill I seek in these stories。 And I was NOT disappointed！ It's a small town thriller， where everyone has a secret， and this one does it perfectly！ Not only does everyone have a secret， but everyone is unknowingly dependent on each other to keep it。 From Sheriff to Mayor to the homemaker down the street， everyone's a culprit。 The lengths they'll go to keep their involvement of a missing person under wraps， will have everyone starting to crack under the pressure， and eventually， no one's secret is safe。I still ask myself， after reading a Kiersten Modglin novel， where her mind travels to in order to create these dark， psychological masterpieces。 If you haven't read one of her novels， you're truly missing out， because once you read one， you're HOOKED！ 。。。more

I really wanted to love this。 The premise sounded so good。 But for me i just found the characters so annoying。 I didn’t particularly like any of them。 And there was a couple decent twists but i just found it to be predictable。 I just wanted more from this one。 The characters just seemed so irritable in every conversation and it drove me nuts。
